On the occasion of Independence Day, we extend our congratulations to the Lebanese people and the leadership of the military institution and the security agencies who are vigilant over the safety of the nation despite all the difficulties our country is facing.We take this opportunity to urge politicians to expedite the election of a new president of the republic who meets the aspirations of the Lebanese people, preserves Lebanon’s sovereignty, protects its constitution and the Taif Agreement, and unites all Lebanese citizens.
