Upon a gracious invitation from the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Lebanese Republic, Dr. Walid bin Abdullah Bukhari, I participated as a representative of the Beirut Forum in the reception held at the Embassy headquarters in Beirut. The event marked Saudi Founding Day, celebrating three centuries since the establishment of the Saudi state in 1727.
The ceremony witnessed a broad political, diplomatic, social, and media presence. It served as an occasion to reaffirm the depth of the brotherly relations between the Lebanese Republic and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the strong historical ties between the two brotherly peoples.
The gathering was characterized by a national atmosphere expressing pride in the Kingdom’s history and its developmental journey. Additionally, friendly conversations were exchanged, reflecting a collective commitment to enhancing cooperation and engagement for the benefit of both countries.
We extend our best wishes to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for continued progress and prosperity under the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and for further development and success in Lebanese-Saudi relations.
