Attorney Hassan Afif Kachli hosted a reception at his office in Beirut in honor of the candidate for membership in the Beirut Bar Association, Attorney Saad al-Din al-Khatib, with the presence of a large number of fellow attorneys who wished him success. Several speeches were made, during which Attorney Kachli emphasized that our goal is to protect the messengers of justice with the utmost care, and that attorneys are partners in ensuring justice, defenders of rights, and a stronghold for public freedoms and the rule of law. He stated that they have the right to enjoy all powers, privileges, and protections. He extended all greetings and support to Prime Minister Saad Hariri and acknowledged all efforts made by him for the revival of Beirut, the mother of laws, and all of Lebanon. Attorney Kachli concluded by wishing Attorney Saad al-Din al-Khatib success and prosperity. The candidate, Attorney Saad al-Din al-Khatib, also spoke, affirming his support for fellow attorneys and explaining his electoral program.
